This is the project of saxophonist Ilia Belorukov (St. Petersburg) and dancer Daria Plokhova (Yaroslavl) – this project is a connection between experimental music and experimental dance in-live.
Pause – some moment of life in which life stops by itself. The moment without time, celebration of space… Stop, freeze, desolation, break… a pause as a source that produces action, or like an emptiness that absorbs everything in.
"Movement of Pause" - work where the body and sound in action and inaction telling their stories.
Plokhova Daria – an independent dancer, choreographer and a teacher of contemporary dance technique. Since 2000 she is a dancer of the "Graffiti" theater-dance. Repeatedly participated in the international collaborations of "Lift-project". Daria was a participant of several festivals: "Art of Movement" (Yaroslavl), "Fox" (Saransk), "Competition of young choreographers" (St.-Petersburg), "A'corps" (Poitiers). At present she studies in Vaganova Ballet Academy (St.-Petersburg) in a magistracy «laboratory on a composition of forms of contemporary dance».
Daria works with Ilia Belorukov since 2009, when they had made multimedia project "Solo Х2".
