Idea of these works centered on a 1-step pattern with a changing tempo. The main task is to explore how various frequencies sound like, within the simple 1-step pattern, at different tempo rates.
KickGuitarSinRun is a piece for electric guitar, sine wave, electronic kick drum and performer.
Also I composed works with live musicians and changing tempo in real time.
For Wozzeck it was 3 pieces for sine wave, bass guitar, acoustic drumset, synthesized bass and electronic drums. Patterns were changed in real time by me and by rhythm section independently, tempo was changing automatically during 15 minutes.
Another piece was written for Finnish ensemble Sähkökitarakvartetti and four electric guitars.
